A great team starts with understanding.

The dynamics of your team are critical to your business’s success. Strong teams bring strong results. When teams understand one another, they can build a foundation of:

  • Psychological Safety
  • Trust
  • Increased Motivation
  • Better Decision-Making
  • Higher Engagement and Retention
  • Increased Productivity & Profit

Expedition Coaching & Consulting can conduct assessments on individual members or the entire team and workshops to help team members better understand each other. This is all in an effort to improve communication, increase team cohesion, and drive results.

As a certified DISC facilitator, Expedition offers the following assessments & related workshops:

DISC Assessment

As the world’s most popular behavioral assessment, the DISC assessment offers insight into four primary behavioral tendencies and emotions, and explores how these come together in a personal blend of styles to create an individual’s DISC style:

  • D – Dominance: Direct and Guarded, Fast-paced and Task-oriented, Focuses on Problems & Challenges, Assertive
  • I – Influence: Direct and Open, Fast-paced and People-oriented, Focuses on People & Contacts, Persuasive
  • S – Steadiness: Indirect and Open, Slow-paced and People-oriented, Focuses on Pace & Consistency, Supportive
  • C– Conscientious: Indirect and Guarded, Slow-paced and Task-oriented, Focuses on Procedures & Constraints, Analytical
DISC 360° Assessment
The DISC 360° assessment with observer feedback helps the subject understand how team members perceive their actions (and possibly associated motives). Often, leaders think their communication and intentions are apparent but fail to realize others are misinterpreting them. DISC 360° can help leaders identify the gaps between how they want to be perceived and how they are actually perceived.

MOTIVATORS

Just as the DISC assessment gives insight into “how” someone will behave, the Motivators assessment explains “why.” Motivation influences multiple facets of how a person acts, makes decisions, and behaves. The Motivators assessment can help us understand one’s viewpoint, mindset, and thought process. Knowing your team’s motivators can help you align objectives with core motivations properly, thereby achieving success for both the employee and the company.

Emotional Intelligence Assessment

Research shows that Emotional Intelligence (EQ) can be responsible for up to 80% of success in life, but lucky for us, it can also be learned and developed. The EQ Assessment can help identify relative strengths and weaknesses based on our emotional dispositions and provide a framework for interpersonal and intrapersonal effectiveness.

And assessments aren't just for teams!

Better understanding yourself can be an essential part of your leadership or professional development journey. This is why any of our assessments can be adapted for either individual or team use.
